My bank came through with another 20 customer rolls of pennies and I am surprised to find that almost none of them are newer than 12 years old. Michaelanne suggested I might have lucked out and got the contents of someone cleaning out long-ignored junk drawers during a pandemic deep clean or something like that. Anything is possible, I suppose.
Also, because of my discovery of the small date 1982’s among the coins Chris W sent for the last Mail Call Monday, I went through all of my current Copper Count pennies and pulled out anything special I could find before the number of coins got out of hand.
It wasn’t a lot, but I didn’t get skunked.
